After some security instructions, we were all set to go and it was a lot of fun driving these bikes. Going downhill they were quite fast.
The views on the way and the “Map of Africa” were amazing. Also the beach and the story about Leeintjies Klip were great!
We enjoyed the tour with Stix a lot! Thank you!
This is the best way to explore the beautiful surroundings of Wilderness, from the lakes to the mountains and the map of Africa. Bring the whole family for a day of fun.
Richard knows the area well and helped with planning a route for a solo ride.
So, before setting out on the road, we were instructed how to use the bikes, and rode around near the shop to become acquainted with the bikes. Once you get the hang of the the little motorized bike, it’s actually fairly easy to use.
We set out towards the Map of Africa, in a single file. The tar road led into a gravel road. We stopped for photos at various locations, and also for a couple of informational chats. Richard, the lead guy is quite knowledgeable and friendly. The Sweeper (at the rear) Deacon is a very friendly young man who clearly loves the job. He was very helpful.
I recommend this tour.
